does the charm drop often or is it a tough drop to get?

yea most mission named or notorius monsters seem to be that way the drops are usually 100% (cant say always as i havent done all the missions yet) usually the mob also drops a large number of them as well to decrease the number of times a party has to fight it 3-6 from what i've encountered thus far.
Playing nin atm but pld is my true calling...

The charm always drops, and I've seen up to 4 drop at once.

This is for The Rescue quest from Selbina. You also need the Quadav Charm to open the prison cell to release the captured merchants from Selbina. I believe it is given by the Galka outside the Mayor's residence.

No sound no Quadav means that since Quadavs agro to sound, use silent oils or silence spells and you won't get agro.

Quadav charm is needed to do rank 5 mission. Trade charm and augary shell to tenshudo for two different items to complete first part of rank 5 missions.

near the entrance of the Beadeaux is a ???. when you look at it it says:
A piece of parchment has been nailed here.
Read it? yes no (say yes and get:)

when you read that backwards and move a couple of the spaces around it comes out as:

You're right - jufu is Japanese for a charm. I looked it up in a Japanese quest guide and it's listed as "Žô•„" (let's see if that'll show up here). Since it's an EX item and you need it for mission 10, you'll have to do this quest and the mission at separate times. Perhaps it's best to get the charm for M10 and then get another one for this quest when you return to Beadeaux to get the magicite.

What exactly is a Jufu? Any chance that this is merely the Quadav Charm with the original Japanese name instead of the English name?
