I discovered that Time Of Day affects fishing. Try fishing in the morning at like 3:00 to 6:00 - I had a skill level of 0 (ZERO) and caught 4 fish in a row!!! Note, this is after I broke 4 prior rods, catching nothing but kelp, buckets & leggings, so it was a RADICAL improvement.

I've fished with these...nothing but sardines and occasional kelp...then again, I fish in windurst. I can say with fair certainty that lugworms are good for catching sardines.

Lugworms are ideal for fishing in Quifim Ice Pond with skill in low/mid 20s. You can catch Yellow Globes, Tiger Cod and Nosteau Herring (the last two will give skill ups to 29). I've found that these fish sell very well in San d'Oria.
i think lugworms are primarily for small fish. am i right ?
