Well I am lvl 52 with 2k to go to 53 DRG and I went to go get a new wpn and low and behold there is a lance not listed on here. Sacred lance. It has the same stats as the Holy Lance with the addition of Enchantment: Enlight. So obviously I bought it instead. Just wondering if anyone has any info on this wpn otherwise when I have a lil exp with it Ill post again and let you guys know how it is. :)

I'm a level 55 dragoon and I've been using this lance ever since I hit 53. I haven't once seen the additional effect go off ><

I knew when I reached 48 I would have to save up for the Mythril Lance then turn around and sell it for the Holy Lance, only that way could I get both easily. Well, I could never find the Mythril for sale in Asura until I was 50, then I saw it for 50k-60k and decided to farm for that. Well, one day I saw it in Jeuno up for auction for only 40k, I bought it and was very proud. Now I'm lvl 52 and 3k tnl. I figure I'll either get to 54 with Mythril Lance then exchange Mythril for Holy Lance and keep that till 60. Sounds like a plan? I think so :D Sheesh... I don't even have Life Belt yet, what a pitiful DRG I am...

I wonder if this lance evens the playing field between DRGs and undead. Anybody know this to be false/true?

I've always been under the impression that Drg's do half damage to undead. When I fight them, it sure seems that way. And no, the holy lance hasn't made that much of a difference. In fact, fighting with the Light Staff seemed to be just as effective (difference in dmg taken into consideration). And the Holy lance didn't do its extra damage as often as Light Staff.

actually the dragoon lance was Kains final weapon, but almost no one ever found it<very very rare drop off blue dragons on the moon, after where you get holy lance>

The Dragoon Lance is a very rare drop from the Blue Dragons on the moon, and yes I did get it; however it is NOT Kains final weapon. It just matches his final armor

The Holy Lance is.

It has higher stats in every respect to the Dragoon Lance.

The Dragoon Lance is only MARGINALLY better than the Gungir.

hmm really? because i know the holy lance was gotten from the incredibly difficult bosses on the way to the final bosses. i forget which and it did the colors when u attacked. i think im gonna have to look into this now and go back and get the dragoon lance.

it's an alchemy craft, sometimes theres a profit margin, sometimes theres not. When theres not it means some idiots went around ruining the already crappy alchemy guild. (If you have high lvl alchemy you should realize how jipped you get in profit margins compared to other high lvl crafts)

How do you get it is what i'm more concerned about. Do you get it through the AH? Or might it be craftable through Alchemy? Or maybe a quest? Heh I must have it.

You have to buy it from AH or craft it. I bought this lance already and it is worth 40k on Bismarck.

It's because it's a DRG weapon. It has to be powerful; I mean, how else do you think DRGs get to be so powerful?...

All the lances (lances, not polearms) have extreme damage ratings and a high delay.

Also, just to note, the Holy damage does not always go off, just like with every additional effect weaponskill.
