This Falchion is made of Darksteel, therefore heavier than regular Falchions but the extra damage it can do is worth the extra weight.
If Final Fantasy XI was an offline game with the same storyline (up until Chains of Promathia), it would've been one of the greatest RPGs ever made.
I was thinking to make a profit with this. But when you do the math, it doesn't worth it.
YOUR COST: On Alexander sever, Darksteel ignot costs $140k/stack & Steel ignot costs $60k/stack. So, 3 darksteel ignot + 1 steel ignot = $35k + $5k = $40k. In general, the cost is more as you may fail once awhile in synthing.
YOU CAN SELL: Each Darkstell Falchion sells for about $40k each.

If you are going to use this for the Smithing guild test, I reccommend you buy it from the AH. It's usually 5-20k lower than the price of the materials and helps because you won't risk failing!
