this weapon goes for about 3 mil on alex last time i checked. and you hardly ever see one in AH.

I just saw a ninja that has cooking at 100 using this. This is insane now her cooking is at 105!!! (with the guild items). Oh and good wtg @ the person that mentions the tarutaru ninja lol.
I think the hocho ranges from 500k to 1500k on Diabolos Jeuno AH.
O.o WOW! I'm going to level ninja to 57 just so I can get this for cooking. I can't believe I haven't heard of this until now.
This is a rare item, you can't dual wield them. I'm looking at a high level japanese player right now, so I'm 100% sure it's rare.

Why does this give +3 to Cooking skill anyway? It makes little sense.

A Hocho is a cooking knife, so it makes sense as far as cooking skill. Of course, then the question becomes, "Why is a kitchen knife a NIN57 weapon?"
