"Dai Hannya Nagamitsu" was the nickname of Ashikaga Yosh*teru (13th Ashikaga shogun)'s sword, Kokuho, which was passed as an honorific gift amongst the great rulers of feudal Japan, including Oda Nobunaga. The Dai Hannya is currently considered a national treasure of Japan, just like the uber-expensive Koryukagemitsu, the original Ghost in the Shell manga, and Yatta.

This pedantic little backstory, and the STR +3, makes the 300k I dropped on this puppy last week seem a bit more worthwhile... heh.

i was soloing it <im lv61 ninja> and i was like 1-3 hit till he die and my Hp was 156/1074 no potion forgot to bring it...he antiphase me and <tamx is silenced> <Tamx shadow absord keeper of halidom's attack> 3sec later... i ran out of shadow...<Tamx receive 78 damage> then like 2 second later the the silenced wear off <tamx cast utsusemi:Ni <Tamx is interrupted by keeper of halidom> <tamx receive 84 damage> then i fall to the ground and some lv59 sam came and stole my kill he kill it in 2 hit like i said and got the drop!!!! ; ;

SO, on Keeper of Halidom this drop is extremely rare. The chances are you'll get enough money to buy it from killing Goobbues while you wait before it drops ^^;

think lvl 65 monk can solo it? i have soloed it with my lvl 62 thf/nin... but not sure with monk cuz i would likely to SJ thf since i will be farming while waiting on this NM... um and i have decent gears.. like scorp harness.. and such.

I was farming for tree cuttings for the first time. I found that little area off the map with about 4 goobbue spawns, as RDM59/THF15 I probably could have soloed him if I had brought some echo drops. Had him under half life and I hadn't converted, still had 2hr. lol, I didn't know it was an NM till i read the log "Sylvr starts casting Paralyze on The Keeper of Holidom. I just saw the name pop up and was like "Who is fighting the NM and how did I miss it?" then I realize, wait a minute, I am...... so the fight was going well, then he used Antiphase, "Sylvr is silenced." Game over, so I'm laying on the ground dead trying to /tell a high lvl WHM I know when a lvl 73 PLD who logged there pops in, kills the thing in about 5 mins, I got a raise1 >.<; but whatever, it was fun and I learned that I almost soloed a mob thats probably higher than me, a real feat at that lvl.

when ever i goto lvl here at the pond this NM is never camped, i have seen him up about 3 times and each time ive been there for hr's and no one came to kill him. I am on titan server 65thf. goodluck to all the sam's who come to kill him.

drop rate sucks, guarantee tree cuttings though
