me (RDM47) a low level friend (THF26) and bone of my friends (PLD53) where trying to kill Golden Bat for the cape so the low level friend could have it. while waiting for the pop we all just ran around killing bats. we got enough sand bat fangs for each peson to have a stack. later on we found out that they are very valuable because of the repeatable quest. however we all droped them. oh well. golden bat here i come... again
At the auction house it's under Materials -> bonecrafting. Currently 3-4k on Quetz.

These are worth 2000 gil on Cerebus. It would be nice to farm these all day, but Sand Bats are more rare and they don't drop this fang very often.

Does anyone know how quickly these drop normally? I fought them for a day and got like 2....
