Why are RDMs even trying to use bows? o.O At higher lvls you will be useless if you are trying to shoot an inaccurate bow at a mob in stead of casting spells o.O
I was RDM since the beginning and maxed my archery the whole time. Yeah i missed a lot, but who the heck doesnt?? Even when my friend was training his war, he missed, so who's to say RDM really does suck. It hits by chance anyway. After subbing Rng, its pretty dam effective.

Good luck with that :) If you have any low jobs that can use bows do that instead... I would think the skill up will be even worse than its already is for jobs that dont really uses bows... unless you have a good bow like Power Bow +1.
i use it with my lvl 24 rdm (even though rdm's suck at archery)..thats why i keep my archery maxed..or at least try...used with silver arrows and you can tripple the attack of a rdm's regular attack
