O.K. Folks, found an NPC that buys Tin Ingots

Go to Bastok Mines > Boyt's Nicknacks (H-7) > Gelzerio (Galka)

This you can also buy/sell this item at the Northern San d'Oria Smithing Guild.

I don't really care what these are used for, I'm making them just for skillups for smithing. What I wanna know is where is an NPC I can sell the ones I make to? They're not worth the AH space on the Ifrit server, but I can't bear to just throw them away. If anyone knows of an NPC that buys these, let me know! Thanks!

Tin ores sell for 40-50 each from the Smithing NPC, or usually from 50-100 from bastok AH

Some items should not be bought from Jeuno AH, since it costs more to list them then the actual item worth

Copper Ingot

Tin Ingot

so yeah... they got a purpose, at, like, disgustingly high alchemy lvls (talking 66 here)

They're used to make batteries. That's all I know, no details, but I've seen people synthing batteries and then losing tin ingots on different attempts

I've tried Tin Ingots in conjuction with many other types of ingots and nothing works. Why would they tell me to make ingots that are completely useless AND worthless! I keep checking the smithing guild members hoping they'll give me a recipe that uses them, but still nothing at LVl 15.

The one saving grace though it that excluding the cost of the crystal, they only cost 120g to make, and will raise your skill a good 6 levels or more if you start as soon as the advanced synthesis support guy says you can make them. They were still raising my skill at LVL 14, and I could swear I started making them at about 8 or 9.
Maybe a use for it

10k for a stack of Tin in Bastok on Pandemonium...dang I should move there...i was in bastok and the cost for a single stack there was only 200 gil more than the price for a single one. Valefor...I sometimes wonder about us..but then again i may have looked at the single ones again...hmmm

Are you sure? On Seraph they don't sell in 12 sets, and only 2 have sold as singles.

I can't see why they'd be wrth 2000 each, they only cost 120g to make.

It bothers me that the Guild guy in San d'Oria recommends you make these buth there's no known use for them.

anyone know what these ingots are used for? They're great for raising skill cheaply, but worthless as far as I know.
