Aveline (San d'Oria South) does not sell Bay Leaves but Attarena in Northern San d'Oria does, she is at M-9 near the Mog house and she sells stuff from Li'Telor region.

I'm going to make these for beastmaster job, I think that a mandragora is a good pet becouse it has fast hitrate and some good special moves, I use these in ballista.

Aveline does sell Bay Leaves, but only when San d'Oria is ranked first in Conquest and even then only to San d'Orian citizens. This is listed on somepage and I have personally confirmed it.

I hate when windy controlls Li'Telor; Otete is so out of the way :(

I use Earthen pot + Herb seeds and feed water crystals at any day and I get bay leaves everytime.
I was actually trying to get fire crystals but I think I got the wrong pot. :)
How I did it.

Herb seeds, earthen pot, water crystal.

I use a brass pot too. I don't pay attention to the days, but i used 3 brass pots and fed each of my herb seeds a water crystal. I ended up with 21 bayleaves and 5 lightning crystals.

More specifically, try planting
Herb Seeds in Brass pot on Firesday and feeding a water crystal on Watersday. You will end up with 10+ fire crystals or Bay Leaves. Win-Win situation.

I can confirm this recipe. I use it to grow fire crystals for profit, and get Bay Leaves about 50% of the time if I don't pay attention to the days. ;)

Yes, I do the same. Yields of fire crystals from this recipe can be worth much more than the bay leaves.

For example, I grew 4 pots and harvested this morning on earthday. 2 pots gave a total of 11 bay leaves (~500gil profit), the other 2 gave 35 fire crystals (18000gil profit on my server!).
Useless?

any uses at all?

How much do they go for at the AH?

Used in the recipes stated above in cooking. At the Bastok AH in Lakshmi, the going rate is about 800 for a stack of 12, 200 per Bay Leaf (go figure. 200 X 12 = 2400!)
