For goodness sake, all of you people that are complaining about the price of this thing; if you really want it THAT bad go camp it.
But cripes, unless you are absolutely desperate (I mean near the point of death) to level club >.>; you don't need this.
Unless you just want this to show off, (like a few people on Lakshmi that have more money than they know what to do with) just move on, it's not worth the time and aggrivation.
In my humble opinion, the only thing this club is good for is A) Showing off, B) Raising club skill >.>;.
There's a certain sense of "Oooooooh" that comes with owning this club, so BCNMing it would kind of take that aura away from it. I mean, being able to say "I smacked the LORD of Onzozo so hard he dropped his club for me" says "POWAH."
But anyway, stop complaining about the price of it. If you're never going to use it it (for clubbing or for showing off) just relax and focus on more important things... like what you need for gear for exping.

Ummm... dude this club is not for skilling up LOL (although it would be great for that too). Can you say rdm/nin dual wielding joyeuse + kraken club (joyeuse enhances en- spells btw)? I'm a thf/nin usually and I would kill for one: put it in your off-hand for maaaaad tp gain - as long as you have lots of +acc since most jobs don't have very high club skill.
Oh ya, and it's great for your off-hand if you are a mnk/nin too, if you're fighting something that hits really hard. Mnks have nice club skill.

Titan server it's 90mil even, and monopolized by a JP player with 8 accounts that gets claim every day without fail~

its far from useless u juest need now how, great to duel weild for weapon of trials, and other siturations. seems like everyone on caitsith wants one. i will amit it could use a higher dmg and it be insane if it was,t a rare item (16 hits at once yes please)

You can't get 16 hits by dual wielding this and another weapon. And the main use I see this weapon used for is for TP (i.e. RNG/SAM with kraken club and a powerful bow can use a powerful ws every 5-10 seconds).
Actually, I think hes referring to using the Kraken Club to obtain the required number of weapon skills nedded with one-handed Weapon of Trial weapons. In order to get the special weapon skill, you must perform a certain number of weaponskills, obtaining points each time you do. Duel weilding the Trial weapon with the kraken club in their off hand allows its weilder to gain tp much faster to use weapon skills with their trial weapons, allowing them to gain the number of weapon skills needed faster than just using the trial weapon alone^ ^

Idk about it even being able to hit 16 times. When im using Corsairs/Hornet Needle and Triple kicks in for both swings the hornet needles 3rd attack some times doesnt happen just an observation.

Hmmm... I've never noticed that before. Some advice, though, sell your corsaire's and get a darksteel kukri +1. Not only is the delay time faster, the 2 extra dmg helps a lot more than the +10 attack (I have owned both).
Regarding the theoretical ability to hit 16 times - assuming krakens were not rare, and you were dual weilding 2 of them - if I remember correctly (and it's entirely possible that I am not, because it has been over a year since I've seen the kraken in action), it only shows the animation for one swing, but the multiple attacks still show in the log. Wow, that was a long sentence; looks like I learned something in school, after all. ;P

No, it does show all the hits depending on haste+ gear and whatnot. The only problem is that they are slowly spaced out like a mnk/war hundredfisting a club they hit quick but they dun all hit at once. its more like bam..1sec..bam.....bam....bam....bam.....bam and add up that damage my fists do more per turn the thing they got on me is tp...but most jobs that would use it i.e. rdm thf pld brd with the exception of war really i can own them on ws damage too...then again Asuran Fists is known to do that. Not saying that they can't pour out damage as those jobs but i hit ep-T mobs for 900-1400 damage with nearly every asuran fists which of you without SATA can say that with your main weaps.

You guys are suprised this thing is so expencive? if someone gets it YAH their going to keep it, wouldent you? Its all jobs eqipable and not a bad Item to keep. On Lakshmi you can see the end of the sale list in Jeuno. I do agree thoughh that prices on things are getting to high, espetialy things like Emporors hairpins and leaping boots. I think they need to do with these what they did with astral rings, BCNM rewards.

Saw that actuly, didient know about it till after i mentioned it, couldent be happyer, now I just have to wait a bit for the crowds to cool down.

They are also eazyer to get. you can do that BCNM EAZY with 2 BSTs. the reason they went up in price is because its not simple as frikin pie for a thf to farm them. THATS why theve gone up in price. in my opinion they made them ezyer to get and worth more. the reason their worh more is that now players are doing that BCNM to get thaose rings... TO USE! same would happen with the hairpin and leaping boots.
well they need to kill the out of control price on this weapon by making it a npc sale item this way the price would drop back to normal.
i havnt seen one of these on Quetz server in a while,prices are out of control,people just go camp it,get the drop and keep it. goes for about 20-25mil sometimes 30....thats high for our server

I just claimed myself 1 of these after 1/2 years camping (or just about) ..... i sold it on auction for 870.5mil but cost me 5 mil to put it up there but it was well worth it b cos now im rich lol i like to give the n00bs lotsa loot lol but u gotta watch out 4 mules :P

This is wrong, everything on midgar is overpriced, way too much this club is heading towards 300 mil.

monk/nin with Kraken club and the Ridill would be almost as good as duel wielding two Kraken clubs even though you can't. The Ridill attacks 3-5 times which is not to shabby compared to other weapons. Any mob would be pwnd by a monk/nin using these two weapons and hundred fists..heck i'd try to solo Kirin with both of these weapons.
Monk can't weild riddil, and riddil occasionally attacks 2-3 times not 3-5.

This club just keeps going up on Titan. Few weeks ago a friend of mine got really lucky and found it for 40M - its going price is 60-90M depending on buyer/seller. I Just recently heard of the 90M ones. They were going 60-70M for a couple mons.
I keep trying to save up for one of these but it seems every 10M i get, it increases 20 ; ;.....

why would you pay that much for this club... It sucks so much *** in every single thing you could do except skillup. Trust me, I've used it. Hit for 8-10 dmg a lot. Gives you lots of TP. Also gives the mob lots of TP. In almost every party I've been in, I would gladly do whatever I could to keep the TP of a mob low. Bomb tosses every 5 seconds? It happens with this club. On the other hand, skillup is amazing. I went out and was beating on **** for 5 minutes and got 10 lvls on club.
Ever heard of subtle blow? I think the mob getting 2 tp for every 6 of mine is a fair trade... Plus most ppl i know just want this for ballista anyway. Imagine going up to someone as Rng/Nin with Hawkers Knife and this and hitting them with Sidewinder 2 times under a min. I think that this does more than you want it too and you are just mad cuz you didn't think of other ways than exp. Plus this would be good for nin or pld to keep hate with. Also think of this Whm/nin solo Krakens Club and hell any other high level hammer/club.... Hexa Strikes twice a min or at least 3 times in 2 mins.....makes whm's a lil less than helpless don't you think.
