Many people dream about having this club without keeping in mind that with all those small hits, mobs gain a serious amount of TP - and some creature TP attacks are devastating.
For example, using this weapon on high level scorpions and slimes will probably get you and those near you killed a lot faster as those mobs spam their specials 2-5 times faster.

As RDM/NIN at least my En* spells justify a little on the damage ^^
I completley agree with you on the higher lvl mobs, but i would probably use this for my skill up of club, thats about it, i cant use haxastrike, even though paladins have better club rating than whm.
Be sure to visit Karg's video library for a sick video of a NIN owning up on Adamantoise with a Kraken Club.

Funny, on Midgard it reads "+U656". In other words, coding error. If you have any synthed items that are signed, you will notice the signature is screwed up as well. Yay for more patch downloads!

Just saw on of these in action at Rabao zone on an anon redmage. Wasn't dual-weilding and was smacking an Ant nonstop. Occasionally hits 2-8 times? How about nonstop. This weapon is incredible for anybody.
Last one sold in Jeuno on Siren was for 24 million.

we must be lucky on Quetzalcoatl than because they are only a mere 19 million. When I first started playing at the PC release or shortly there after they were marked at about 2.5 million for the club my oh my how inflation really sucks.
Granted the NM only spawns every 18+ hours (Lord of Onzozo) and the fact that you need a party of a bunch of high levels then the luck to actually get it first...it's still not worth that much to me. Super cool weapon but I couldnt see paying more than a couple mil for it myself.
So with that...
I have already convinced myself that I will never possess one of these nor pay that much for something ever in the game.
Besides that kinda gil would sell for a couple thousand real life dollars if you were to sell it to a company.

You don't need 2, just get this and Joyeuse and haste yourself and you'll swing non stop.

yes it works with hundred fsts, because i skill up club sometimes with shellbuster+hundred fists.

The whole point of this club is to use it in your secondary slot as a nin or nin sub for tp gain so you can spam weapon skills on your main wep. Its good for war/nin who can just spam weapon skils like rampage mistral axe and if you're high enough... decimation.

wait, if u sub NIN and duel weild it with another normal club or watever....would that other weapon also hit 2-8 times? cos that...kinda is what would have to happen? or will it share the hits between them

Is there any other multi-swing items that a thf could use? i seen a rdm with kraken club and joyeuse or however its spelt, that that just owns, so i figured thf/nin usin kraken + some other multi swing + Triple attack would be serious own
Thieves can use a Rare/Ex sword called Ridill.
The only problem is, that swords are rated a 'C' for thieves, and clubs are an 'E' for thieves, so not only will your damage be low, your Accuracy will suffer too.

Last one sold on Alexander a very long time ago. I dont know exactly. The price history shows that only about 5 have ever been sold. Last buy was 20 mil.

The best use for this club that I've seen yet is soloing with pld/nin with the Kraken club in offhand and a 1-h sword in the other, spamming Spirits Within all over the place. ^^
Since it's all jobs, a DRK could probably do something similar. HNM fight tactic, I'm thinking?

my freind was telling me he seen some dude with this in balista....a MNK.....he used hundred fists and wow......he thought that before he was hitting alot but this time it was just spamming the damge every where, if i was loged on at the time i woulda flew over there just to see him.

In lower Jeuno this past week there was a JP shouting a lot of things I could not read, but one think caught my eye in the auto-translator...

For the past week on Caitsith, there have been three Kraken Clubs for sale in the Jeuno AH. Five or six have sold there in the entire AH history, and the last several for 20 million.
I keep bidding 20K or whatever I have on me anyway. Doesn't hurt to try, does it?

i was watching a ballista BASTOK VS. WINDY !!, on my server (unicorn)Bastok...which is my own nation..is having...odiffculty getting out oif last place...soo back to thae match..the bard had this club and a nother dagger/knife. he was subbed ninja so he was owning the lvl 75 paladin, when i thought he had the match won a theif came and killed him, but all i want to say is that this weapoin was so crazy tat anyone who weild this weapon..owns!! cept the damage isn't grteat :(
