golly yeah a Enfeeb torque, with two whole points makes this peice INFERIOR! What i think is inferior is to pay the jacked up price for the enfeeb torque unless u have money up the yazoo. Dont let ppl talk your gear down folks. Its your 12 bucks a month who gives a sh*tz. ^.^

It's between 1-4 hours for DW to spawn. I have popped her 1 hour after killing her. Other times, it didn't pop for about 4 hours. I would suggest /RNG for widescan, taking your chances otherwise.
The time that it popped in 1 hour, I killed DW, waited for placeholder to spawn (always 1st spider after Antican Funditor <sp>?), /follow on the Giant spider and waited for an hour to pass. If you are lucky and another camper doesn't come around, kill the spider and use Sharpshot to time the next spawn (5 min). Spam Widescan and hope DW pops! :)

been on it for 4 hours and 30 minutes since last TOD. this guy doesnt even pop between 2-4 hours. this is just getting ridiculous to the point SE needs to cut some slack for those ppl spending every day in altepa camping this place ><

just finished 9th attempt and finally got 3 webs and a Spider Torque! i dont think ill be coming here for a while. enough dune widow ><;
if ur having trouble spawning the widow, make sure you kill the placeholder during that time (and only that spider, nothing else). more details on how you can spot the placeholder is on the Dune Widow page.

0/2 now as rdm60/thf17 not camped by rmt's all the time too which is how i have had 2 claims ^^ low drop rate i guess altho made 15k worth of spiders webs each time so thats beter than nothing ^^
Edit: 1/5 :D rmt camping has gone up massively especially by Happymimi on Lakshmi guess the deflation in prices is making it harder to fill their quotas! think i got about 80k worth of webs altogether, not bad in the end.

1/1 on this little lady, got very lucky, was bored and decided to just cruise by altepa to see, waited a bit, killed a spider and went afk for about 3 mins. came back and there was Dune Widow practically waving to me. it was new moon 0% and got torque and 3 webs ^^

LoL yea ive actually had to go 6hrs before she popped i even had 2 friends helping and /rng so no way she got by me just took her 6hrs in all im like 0/20 with friends solo 1/4.
Try killing *the* placeholder... I've had it pop anywhere from about 45-170 min, never more than that. That's with constantly killing the PH as it pops.

When I needed this Item It was selling for 400k and Enfeebeling was 1.2 million. Now spider is going for 2 million and enfeebleing is 4.5 million.
I wasnt going to pay 400k so I started camping Dune Widdow and got the drop after the 3rd claim. Now I camp her so I can get 2 million but have as yet to get another drop.

You can solo this thing easy at 60 with rdm/blm or rdm/thf. I have camped it 4 times and got it 4 times only one drop><. as long as you have stoneskin and phalnax you have no problems. on the plus side webs go for 15k each on diablos so even if you dont get drop you still get 45k. o ya goes for 600k here. I hate our economy! My first post sorry if it is messed up.

Ever want your slow or paralyze to land and actually stick for a long time? Then get either the spider torque or enfeebling...cause you don't have them, you're a gimped RDM before you can get up there to solo the BCNM. Yeah, it's nice to solo as a rdm, but parties would go a lot easier if you had 1 so please think before you post or at least learn what your job was created for...rate down.

any1 know how often this things spawns???
When I first took a look at this item a few months ago, it was around 175k or so. I thought, "Who would ever buy this? The Enfeebling Torque is just 300k."
A few weeks ago (just after I hit lvl 65), I took another look at the Enfeebling Torque and thought, "Who would ever buy this for 600k? The Spider Torque is 200k." At which point I contently bid 190k on the Spider Torque and won.
2 Enfeebling points might be worth 125k, but not 400k...

Just bought this (finally), got it for 110k.
The price does fluctuate, seen as low as 100k and as high as 250k.
Its almost a "must have" for all Red Mage. Good alternative for the more expensive Enfeebling Torque (+7) which runs about 400k-600k.
