Most definately incorrect. As a matter of fact, I don't think there is a single Arcana that spawns in in those mines.
As another poster said, Arcana are common items given life through arcane means.
Bombs, Snolls, Clusters
Dolls, Pots, Golems
Evil Weapons
Cardians

If you were fighting bomb queen would the effect of this only work for this axe? Or would it be +5% critical hit rate for this axe and your main hand.
Arcana are mobs that are not naturally created, at least thats what I think. Bombs, Weapons, Golems, Dolls, etc are all arcana mobs. I think I missed some but these are the most common.
Sorry to sound like a noob but what types of mob in FFXI are arcana??
