this is indeed an insanely good synth, if i knew about this be4 lvl 45 i woulda started it cause insect wings (normally known as one of the many items that are the trash of vana diel) r like 200 gil a stack, i dont care wat they sell for this is a great skill up
I am lvl 53 Clothcraft and I synth these for gil. They sell well and fast, far better then Silk Cloth which is in my eyes highly over-rated. The stuff just sits on the AH barely sells at all.

LVL 53 WHM from Bastok on the Quetzcoatl server and damn proud of it.
This has to be one of the best lvling synths for clothcraft. I started out at 42 after I had finished with Bird Fletchings. After powerlvling this synth for an hour I had leaped 6 (yes SIX!) lvls to 48! every lvl I would "/l DING! Clothcraft lvl **" after about 4 lvl my LS was telling me to slow down. XD
P.S. I was doing this on Windsday with, I believe, a waning cresent moon.

MUAHHAHA this synth is godly. I can get 2/6 successful synths and break even. That is beautiful. Makes up for the ridiculuous loss making Bird Flecthings. Never could understand that one....

im thinking of starting them at lv 43 is that the right lv to start at? its like bird fletchlings started at 33 and yagudo flechlings at lv 13 so could i be wrong?

I started these after I maxed out on Bird Fletchings at 42. You'll have a bunch of failures early, even with Advanced Synthesis Support, but this synth is better gil then the bird fletchings. On Fairy, Bird Feathers cost 1K a stack and fletchings go for 400 to 500 gil. Insect Wings cost 500 a stack and fletchings sell for 1K a stack.
