i bought this gun recently cuz my rng didnt have a ranged weapon. it was only 6k from a bazaar. what i dont understand is its high skill which you need to make it.

Something has to be wrong here. How can this gun require a higher crafting level than guns much higher in level? A required 46 smithing and 46 woodworking is insane for such a low level item, with such pathetic stats.
Conclusion: This has to be incorrect. If not, then this is just stupid and it's pointless to look for one because nobody will ever craft them to sell, and anyone who finds one will either keep it or npc it. Best to just avoid it.

Gun+Bronze Bullet has less DMG than most crossbows, and a delay about twice as long. You should wait until at least Bullets are available to use a gun, and make sure said gun isn't this piece of crap.

Well I just got this little gun a few hours ago... I just killed a Stonelauncher for fun, and then it actually dropped. Now I'm gonna see how much this thing is worth ^.^

Personally, I'd love to use this with my Ranger. A gun in this game is just awesome. We have guns and tacos in an RPG. A great combo.
Anyway, on to my point. The true problem is not the price of the bronze bullets, but for the sheer fact that you can never find them. Otherwise I'd use a gun as a Ranger all the time.

i was logging in ghelshba today
5 minutes later the whole apple family came in
i punched every monster i see to take out my anger
then i punched the stone launcher and actually ripped the gun out when it shot burst at me (no i didn't actually rip it out)
then i got the drop
then i was happy, but then the life company game, and went on a killing spree

No of course not...it's a gun...it shoots magic...so you have to be a RNG/Mage of some sort.
Either that or you have to be from a special land where bullets just magically come from a jelly bean field...

Yes, and on my server, ammo for lvl 1 is at least 6k per stack.. so... guns are for rich ppl.. lol ^_~

I went to the Outpost on a hunch today to level my dagger skill and killed a Stonelauncher for kicks. He dropped one of these on the first try. I've fought many Stonelaunchers and didn't believe they actually dropped these, but I guess they do!
Anyway, I went to sell it (expecting that it would get me a pretty penny as it's a gun and all.. and rare!) but it only went for 300 at the AH in San'Doria... 1000 in Jeuno... Oh well...
Gonna' hang onto this thing and use it when I hit ranger.

Someone please explain to me why Clothcraft can make a gun?!?
I believe the listing of Clothcraft is in error, and should in fact be Goldsmithing, as evidenced by the requirement of a Brass Ingot.
