lol you are all mad about how your servers sell them for to much or they are to hard to find in your world lol well for a stack in my server (ifrit) is's 20k+ >.< ... it doesn't help when i'm poor lol 20k is almost all i ever have lol ... i wish my stacks were goin for 7k lol i buy as many as i could lol ...

I've been playing for awhile and have finally gotten around to messing about in my RNG suit.
My marksmanship is capped for lvl 30 by using crossbows as WAR and DRK. My lvl 3 RNG can buy a gun, but no ammo? I've already blown a huge amount of gil on Cooking (Artisan level, now), so I sure as heck don't want to spend weeks of game time leveling Alchemy and Smithing just to make level 1 bullets... Why, if you can't buy them anywhere, do they even exist?
This kind of nonsense is why I took 3 months off from the game...

I believe the level of tradeskill required to make these is level 14 smithing. With your level of goldsmithing though, you can make regular bullets and silver bullets. :)

bronze ingot is largely smithing, and is not usually goldsmithing

I've seen a lot of people asking for others to make these for them. I recently got my Blacksmithing skill up high enough to tradeskill these, so if you see Eaze running around Bastok, just send me a tell and I will be happy to make these for you free of charge if you bring me the materials ;) Until then, I'll try to keep Bastok's AH stocked as long as the demand for them is steady. strangely enough firesand is actualy a tiny bit above bronze bullets in alchemy levels
btw the only bullet vendor ive seen sells bullets (regular) grenades and bomb arms in the gunpowder room in mines i once was a thf on diabolos and used a gun and believe me just dont waste the energy unless u are an alchemist
or see them in a bazarr as in a half year (im lazy ...dont lvl much) i found 66 in a bazarr in bastok no more ....ever... i hope i can one day be of help on here ..(im new ) rate me up if this helped ^^

All you people who like using guns here you go.
Use a Cross bow till your level 22. Then use your gun with 'Bullets'. Cross bow will level your Marksmenship for your later use of guns. Bronze bullets is kinda a wast of money.

On Valefor i dont see these at all,in fact i dont't think i have ever seen them. How are us new rangers supposed to use our guns with no bullets? give me a break,anyone who can should make these, profit would be great. Conditions: Firesday|Wanning Cescent 38%
Advanced Synthesis From Azima in the Alchemy Guild
Results: 11 normal synthesis (33 bronze bullets)
1 HQ Synthesis ( 99 bronze bullets)
I then decided to try my luck without advanced syth on and still succeeded in making 33 bronze bullets.
So with those skill levels you can craft these elusive bullets, although as always it is cheaper to farm your materials >.<
Hope this helped someone out there ^_^

With Smithing Synth Support I was able to start making these at lvl 3. I was getting about 50% success rate with .2-.3 until lvl 5. Where I am now getting about .1 at about an 70% success rate. This does need to get updated to reflect the fact that it requires smithing (somewhere around 10 is my guess for now).

Unless Bastok is ranked 1st, (which it isn't right now on Bahamut) I don't think Odoba sells them. I've never seen them in his shop, and I'd like to know if I am wrong about him not carrying them. Anyone who can provide insight, OR has the means to make these on Bahamut, please let me know. I will provide the items for the synthesis.

As of right now, the posting is incomplete. It should read as follows:

am a galka who just is in love with the RNG job. I have a low level gun, but finding bullets is next to impossible, unless u are level 55 plus. someone plz. craft these, cause am only level 5 blacksmithn and 2 alchemy, lol. Give us a break!

These sell for a lot because of the firesand component. Does this require blacksmithing skill or goldsmithing skill? Prev post says blacksmith but all the other ammo types involve goldsmith. Pls let me know because I plan on making these and reselling at cost.

Stacks of these cost 7,000 gil in the San d'oria AH on Diabolos. I find it awful how rangers who wish to use guns instead of bows at lower levels must suffer like this. -_- I don't see why shops can't sell these ..
Use a crossbow to increase the marksmanship skill until you can equip a gun and proper bullets. These aren't worth the money.

That's not the point, it's rediculous that beginner RNG's can't even practice with the low lvl guns and ammo made "available" in the game (or in this case the very unavailable and/or gratuitously high priced Bronze Bullets). We want to use guns for the sake of using them, not just bring up our lvl's by practicing with crossbows for later use.

Not only that but a crossbow does more damage at this level then a gun.
There is a smithing component to these.

these bullets are worthless. a crossbow bolt does more damage and also raises marksmanship, as well as have less reload time. Only reason you should make these is if you're raising skill levels or showing off gun skills.

What about us poor Corsairs, that for some strange reason dont get an option of using all types of bullits, and have to pass up the level 15 one, since its RNG exclusive, and wait til 22, for normal bullits? Without the bronze ones, we cant level our gun skills, and lose half of our DDing component =/

you can buy them in bastok in the metal work's in one of the rooms just up the lift (you know the door's in the corners of the wall's i belive its the one on the left ,with my fame it was 204 per bullet :S

He means neither; his information is erroneous at best and outright malicious at worst. There is in fact a weapons dealer in Rabao; he sells REGULAR bullets, NOT bronze ones. There is in fact an outpost near the oasis in East Altepa; this is NOTHING MORE than a "border shop" conquest-related shopkeeper who does not sell these. There is another oasis in SW West Altepa; it has a stack of crates there but no shopkeeper. Simply put, there is no such NPC vendor, and going to either oasis is a surefire way to get killed by the dozens of goblins who choke the oases.
Has anyone tried Fire Sand + Bronze Ingot for these? Since Brass makes regular bullets and (presumably) Silver makes silver bullets, it would make sense.
