STR +4, ATTACK +10, +15ice is the only reason why I need to purchase this as whitemage in farming and doing solo.

I use it sometimes on Barrage and sidewinder as samurai since it did more dgm and i could tell

a very useful item in my eyes ifrits cost of mp goes down plus makes fire magic stronger plus STR+4 is a nice touch why it has +10 ranged attack gets me but hay maybe its useful for some lol its 130-150k on odin server

it also increases the effectiveness of fire based spells. a good reason that mages get it despite its seemily useless stats

THen does that mean the Ice staff makes Shiva Cost less per tic? ANd each corrisponding element with the Summon. Pardon the grammer

Yes. All the Staves give a -1 cost to the correct element avatar.
The HQ Staves give a -2 cost to the avatar.
Some people believe that the staff also increases the BP power, but there doesn't seem to be any real proof either way, as the BPs are so unpredictable in power anyways.

To my understanding most <Black Mage> buy all the elemental staves and usually macro the corresponding staff into their spell casting because it enhances their casting potency. Also enfeebling magic corresponds to different elements, esp. if you think about rasp, choke, drown, etc., but like sleep for example is associated with dark. So by equiping a dark staff before casting sleep, your chances of it landing are now increased. Not sure if this makes any sense to you.

actually the rasp and drown type spells you mentioned are elemental magic based, not enfeebling magic

Do any high level rngs use this b/c of +10 ranged attack?
i doubt it, most rangers sub NIN for hte AGI and DEX and then get a pair of ranger daggers which have ranged attack and ranged accuracy bonuses, plus is a MUCH lower level item

Sometimes they replace one of the Archer/Hawker's knives with a Fransisca. Little less ranged acc, but good ranged attack boost, plus RNGs can use Rampage, so there's that. Ya, just felt like mentioning that.

Anyone know how to make this? I know it's a synthasis item cause the Vulcan Staff is the HQ (+1) version of this staff.
