ROFLMAO I just did this in the vague hope that MAYBE I might be able to get a single cotton cloth out of it... wind crystal + antican robe (3k at AH) and got 3 times HQ, yield of 2 cloths, and only missed 2 synths (losing only one robe!!!!) that was the cheapest half stack of cotton cloth I ever got! and I'm only clothcraft level 6

ok, after some experimentation they appear to be trivial at 22, like a goblin helm. you can produce anywhere from 2-8 threads depending on success level. have fun!
