I grew these accidentally when I was trying to grow lightning ores (used cuttings instead of sapplings). Spent about 400k on the cuttings and got close to 70k back from all the silver nuggets which i had to synthesize into silver ingots to sell ... so dont grow these unless your stupid or something :/
Well, far as I can tell, you need these to raise your goldsmithing from 18 to 20, so while there might be more profitable alternatives, these have a use all the same.

Brass pot - Tree Cuttings and 2 lightning crystals fed the crystals on random days and got 9 of em ...... pretty sweet if i may add :p
