I really admire how Square Enix inserted Alchemy into this game, and not just that, but true-to-history, legendary items as well.
My Alchemy skill is nowhere close to 98, but I think there's not much more they could have done with his medicine, seeing as Panacea was originally a Fountain of Youth drink that not only cured any ailments but also made you live longer.

these run for about 130k on gilgamesh.. a lot less than it was in the past me thinks. goes for almost 1.4m for a stack. drinkin one of these better make me crap a brick of gold for that price~

well in case you guys dont know a panacaea is a word for something that is a cure all. one might asume that thats what this does. either cures all status effects samultaneously or cures any a status effect

I'm not Alchemy in the game but a friend told me every time he get a HQ, the philopher stone is keep. is that true? or he is just kidding me..
and talking about quests or synthesis..
is there a quest or process where a Alchemy Veteran could get Vile of Elixir..
Due the same friend told me that he can craft it, using beast blood, Icarus Wing, wait a real day.. He didnt want share me the process he only told me the synthesis materials he need, in order to craft it, but due is not such formula, i think he obtain thoses by trading to NPC
I know there are some Alchemist NPC, one for CoP, one for cursed items..
Also I heard that you can improve your AF, by using Ether cotton, Ether leather..
Do you know how to do it?

Mystery tour is currently showing that it's effect is "Erase". So we have erase in a bottle

Panacaea is a mythic drug that allegedly could cure anything.
If this is yet another joke from SE I'd say that is either a drug that can cure any status ailment (ie.: Plague and Bane apart from Disease and Curse, Petrify etc. etc.) or bottled Erase (BIO, slow, bind, bla bla bla).
But this is just a wild guess.

Last I heard was that it gave +7 to all stats (was on mystertour) however, that information was removed and now no place has any information other then how to craft.
+7 to all stats sounds like the ambrosia stats, which is purified cursed soup.
I think the reason no one eats panacea is because we alchemist use it to make nuggets and we'd lose a lot of gil if we eat it. lol

Well if this cures paralysis it is majorly not worth it since a low lvl whm can just cast paralyna on you to cure it

I will give you a hint. It has to do with chocobos, and Altepa:) AND ALOT OF GIL to get started. More then it takes to get your crafting to that lvl.

I just got 13 Mytril Leaves from gardening. So far the only use that I can find is for using the same recipe for Silver Nuggets, however, why would I do that to a flask of Panacea? Anyone hear of another way to make these? A Philosopher's Stone is way to valuable to waste on mythril nuggets in my book... but then again, that is probably why the recipe is not published... who would waste their time.
From mysterytour.web.infoseek.co.jp, It said it +7 to all status. Not very sure how long it last or if it stacks with anything.
