Fish in the ports or Kazahm with this, and you'll catch nothing but Cobalt Jellies. (And of course a few non-fish items, rusty gear/Pamtam kelp) but even on a bad day its about 50% jellies. (I use a Composite Rod)

Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention and my line broke on something that I was "positive I didn't have enough skill to reel in"... So now I have to go find another one :-(

I started using this lure when my fishing was level 20 in la theine plateau pond ( the eastern one, tiny one )with a Mithran rod.
I raised my skills like crazy, got fish, terrapins, rusty caps (1/2k), water clusters... this place is awesome to make money and raise your skills.
With the mithran rod you'll get some "too small to fish with this rod" but not too much and anyways your skills raise on those messages too.

crafted a stack of these at 27 gold skill: 12 sucesses and no skill gain. the fact that this uses a brass ingot should be a clue.

my guess is the goldsmith skill for this is more in the area of a brass hairpin.

what i want to know is can you buy this lure somewhere? the AH sells them at 2k each but are never in stock :/
