How does the additional effect get triggered? Is it by HP or what?

Sango's weapon is called the Hiraikotsu. It means "Flying Bone" because it's made of out a dead demon's bone.

The literal meaning of Hiraikotsu is "The bone that flies (comes) back."

Hi - Flying
Rai - To come
Kotsu - Bone

They need some bigger boomerangs in this game. I like the idea of a ranged weapon that doesn't require ammo. ^^

No. NO GIANT BOOMERANGS! And actually, it's spelled "Inu Yasha" and "Hiraikotsu". I think it's hiraikotsu, close anyway. >.>

Erm... I honestly don't think so for several reasons. One, SqueEnix doesn't have much to do with Sunrise Entertainment, as far as I know. Could be wrong, tho.

Second, the game logistics would prohibit it. Where would something like that go? Main? Ammo? If in ammo, it would not show up as it does on Sango's back in the series, as no ranged weapons are shown on people. If main, that'd be a first "main" weapon that is actually ranged.

But yea, I don't think there are any plans for giant boomerangs.
found one

I found one in a chest, that you use one of the special Pal mines keys you find off of the Old, Brass and Bronze type of Quadav in there. Be careful, these mobs are 21 - 25 lvl roughly.

This isn't dropped by any monsters. In order to get this, you will first have to get a Palborough Key, and then locate the Chest and use the Key on it. The Key is dropped by Brass, Old, and Copper Quadavs as well as Mine Scorpions.
