Not quite correct, DEX improves critical hit rate and adds 1 ACC for every 2 DEX (as stated by Square in an interview). In addition DEX improves Sneak Attack damage for main job THF only. If you are a DRK/THF extra DEX will not improve Sneak Attack, it only counts as a standard critical hit and you're better off with Snipers. If you are a THF however there is no better ring for a long, long time.

neither are better any good thf knows to use a equip switch macro. for tp gain use sniper rings and when doing sata use dex rings.

Well, actually my friend, 2DEX = 1 Accuracy, so in essence, this ring gives 2 accuracy.

Costs about 500k last i checked on Asura.
All the psuedo +1 rings like this (which ARE NOT +1's) are from HQ synthing materials basis. In this case you need about 70 Goldsmithing and the ingredients are Earth + Gold Ring+1 + HQ Purple Gem (Painite?)
I hope that when the world comes to an end, I can breathe a sigh of relief, because there will be so much to look forward to.
