It's a good sword if you want to solo or have fun around, because it has the highest damage a red mage could ask until level 70, when you can buy rune blade. (without mentioning the enhancing sword, but that is kinda a dream).

Can anyone who has used both let us know whether the higher DMG rating of the Gold Sword outweights the large +Atk bonus of the Anelace?

Funny how a sword made of gold is sturdy enough not to bend, gold being very malable(sp?) and all. Still very nice looking weapon once equiped.

Actually, if you look at the recipe its probably more accurate to say this is a gold plated sword. ^^

i'm trying to have one made, and the goldsmith says this isnt working, he used 2 gold ingots.

Was 60k for a long time on Valefor. I just bought mine today for 35k and sold my Aramis's Rapier. This sword doesn't look as cool, but it does better damage.

These swords are much purtier once equiped. They are dark in color with a gold edge along the whole blade.
