Huh? Are we talking about the same thing here? I see posts that say these sell for 90-132k a stack on various servers, Kaginawa x99 on Unicorn server = 30-32k

I don't think the smithing requirment is 15.
I attempted to make one of these today and I have NO smithing skill and it let me attempt. I think if you are 10 levels below the skill cap it won't let you try to make the item. I could be wrong but just thought I'd point that out.

I think outside the box, so naturally my karma is low.
In addition, you can smith anything that is within 15 levels above your current skill.
just to let you know the #'s at the top arent the requirement, but the skill cap. meaning if you are not capped at 15 smithing for this, you could possibly lvl your smithing by crafting these.

So u aint making that much money off of 4 stacks of them and you cant really afford to fail? but diabolos is a gilseller enviroment where prices have been knocked up a bit. i cna afford to do it but im not sure at level 22 whether i shuld or not.

This is much better to make once you can farm the hair for your self, you are lucky your bronze is soo cheap on Remora its 30K for a stack and 7 K for a stack of Grass Thread, One manticore Hair is 30 K... there is NO profit if you dont farm these suckers on Remora

I am currently 22 Clothcraft an looking to level
i am 23 smithing and cannot find any options
shall i try this now? or shall i wait untill 25
i will have advanced support the entire time and be facing east. Should I? if not any suggestions?

i just tryed synthing these at lvl 20 cloth with advance synth of course and i had smithing at 12 i failed every time and only got skill ups in smithing i was pissed.. But i did smithing skill ups every time so but i guess ill just go lvl smithing more.

This craft really requires your smithing be 11 or higher (it'll skill until 15) and your clothcraft be 22 or higher(skill until 29). Seems to sell alot quicker than other options at this level, such as fly lure, soil hachimaki, or fisherman tunica...
btw this ia a great way to lvl clothcraft from 25-29, assuming you have enough cash for the manticore hairs (4-5k each). Kaginawa sell faster than any of the other options (fly lure, heko obi, fisherman's tunica) and offer a 2.33k profit per synth (33 Kaginawa). I can buy all ingredients for a stack (at worst case) for 18k and sell for 25k. If you have 60 cloth and smithing, im assuming you'd be able to HQ these every once in a while and increase your profit per synth to something more like 5k.
This will cap your smithing higher then 10 for sure... I just synthed one at 10 smithing and got a .1
Edit: Just finished my other attempts, got skill on each. Total of .5 at 10 smithing, skill each time. I would lean towards the 15 cap...

The smithing skill only need to be 10, and your clothcraft skills are better off with 22 upwards, as even then you would fail to make Kaginawa most of the time until Skill is at 25.

I have 6.5 smithing and 71.6 cloth and I can't make these. I've tried for a LS mate and I am 0/5. I'm not seeing any smithing skillups either, so I think the smithing requirement is > 10 and maybe closer to 20.
You would need to be past level 8 to make it.
