Ok, so i was thinking, whats the percent on each +1 double attack?
Warrior = 1
Scythe = 1
AF boots= 1
T sushi = 1
All equals +4. so what does that make?
I think ALOT of double attacks w/ a very nice scythe.

Ok I'v soloed this guy 3 times and killed him alot with my LS and I have yet to see this scythe anyone know the drop rate cuz I want this scythe for my BST

i have been in afew sky runs where we kill this guy but never looked him up would be nice for my bst and my drk isnt far behide being able to use it ether. so would that give me a little more of i get first drop ? two jobs vs someone with one one job that can use it.

I think its a good weapon to have a "doubleAttack+1" is alway's good in my book. The of a chance to get a free swing at a mob the better. Yeah the death Scythe is great but, in a way this is better from my p.o.v.! I mean all crap to the side and just look at it. +1 and have WAR sub to DRK its a win/win no matter how you look at it,so what if the Added affect is binding some dang birds. I say just use WAR/THF and have the war's AF boots that inhances "Double Attack" and A ring for WAR that also inhances Double Attack and your just a sick a$$ killing machine.
IIRC double attack +1 is a +1%chance to double attack, so unless you add this to some other double attack + and a war main or sub this will bearly help you out in DoT.

the protental for this Scythe is very nice, a Drk in the pt Virus Mr.Bird god could Bind him since it does its Hr2 giving everyone a quick run for it

well not being lvl 75 but already having my death scythe because it goes for 4k on seraph. i say nah i'll pass. +1 double attack is probably cool for drk/war because its adding to a better percentage of getting dbl att. But how many, not saying they don't, but how many lvl 75 drk/war's get invites for exp/merit pt parties. Being that my server(seraph) is a very stereotypical drk/thf after lvl 60 server, i can only guess not many. and 1% double attack, thats not very well usefull, skill up at 75 sure bst go for it, you dont' get the death scythe or the trecedium (sp) so why not, but martial scythe with less dmg pulls off my WS so yeah. I'd pass but then again i'm not 75 yet.

i think this scythe is pretty good to use in ballista since it does not have a horrible delay like the other scythes, you do get a percentage of double attack so you can sub any other job andyou get those bad ass scyther ws... if your drk anyway...
Suz scythe is actually better, but its not bad to have this... i dont understand why they give you a bind effect on birds lol, but its nice cause i killed despot witha bunch of birds, seems fitting :P

scarecrows scare birds away right, not make them stay put in one spot, right? this game really doesnt have abilities that make monsters run away tho. I wonder why. other FF games do.

This scythe does give you double attack even if you're not a warrior or subbing it.

i like it i want it for my war seeing how oddly enough i use scythe's as my main weapon rather thatn greatax but i also am playing as my drk so the skills don't goto waste
this weapon is great for a DRK/THF. since you can exp off Flamingos this will give the added effect a chance to go off.
And Double attack+1 does indeed give double attack even without /war. So if your DRK/THF you get the best of both worlds

Actually, the +1 to Double Attack *will* allow a straight up DRK or BST without a WAR subbed to double attack. This just adds even more double attacking fun for someone who is playing WAR or subbing one though.

just because you use a scythe doesnt mean you have to be a drk. notice how it says WAR/DRK/BST

because bst can unlock the spiral hell weaponskill on scythe.

BST use Scythes to get the last hit so they can kill the mob and get full exp. Delay doesn't factor in till after the first hit, and since this scythe has high Dmg it's ideal for taking down the last sliver of life on a mob.
Actualy bst melee with thier pet to get 100% tp then wait till the mob is at about 5% then leave and rampage only reason i can see a bst useing a scyth is for a 300% SATA spiral hell on gods (who would let bst do that anyways >.>; i bet even war can out spiral hell us.

Nice weapon. Wonder how much more you double attack with +1? Only other things that I've seen that put it up put were a percent.
Unless it puts it up a good amount I would rather have the death scythe though ^^

well my speculation* is: seeing how it's +1 you get double attack even if you don't have that job trait, where as if it was a % increase of double attack, you'd have to have double attack for it to be increased

Just so everone knows, i have this scythe and i farmed with it for hours to see how much it procs. With <75DRK/THF> it procs about 1/100 swings with just the scythe. Next i equiped Brutal earring "5% double attack as opposed to /war giving 10%" and use it with Suzy scythe with same 480 delay just so i wouldnt have to wait so long. With only brutal earring i would double attack at least once per mob "ep dolls with bout 2500 hp" sometimes 2 times per mob. next test i equiped brutal earring with scarecrow scythe and from what i seen, the results are noticably better. Im not sure if the brutal earring which "enhances double attack" uses the double attck+1 from scarecrow to enhance off of but I notice a difference. Now for the icing on the cake.. and im only saying this because im currently 63 WAR with my af feet, that a 75 drk/war with brutal and this scythe has bout the same double attack rate as an unmerited war does with just his feet.. which for a drk,, well we all know thats overkill as it is. So if you drk's out there wanna attack fast and have lots a double attack.. use this scythe and brutal earring and /war.. you will definatly enjoy yourself as DRK/WAR.. thanks hope i've been help to some of you^^
