im 52 clothcraft atm.what lvl do u start to hq these on a regular basis? BTW if u turn the tools into bags with a winjruit u get an extra 10k on asura and u can stack to 12 if u like but u will lose a bit of the extra profit
45k on fairy, made my day when it sold in 15 mins, all i do is harvest the cotton balls cause pepole camp the guild to hell for those for some reason on my server, this replaced linen cloth as my favored money making tecnique.

is there anyone on Ragnarok that makes these?....i would love to get my hands on some for my ninja, but i can't make them yet and i've never seen any actually for sale at any AH.....><....i can't pay very much, but if you're asking a resonable amount, i can pay some....i'd even be willing to get some of the ingridents.....

Farm cotton cloth from Banshees in Qufim near the lake. The drop rate is fairly high and you'll be doing the lvl 20s a favor too.

unfortunately that isn't the case anymore on ragnarok. Just checked AH today and 4 stacks of shinobi tabi only give a return of 38k. On top of that grass thread is up to 3-4k now. Now it's a loss to synth for skillup.

if you farm the saruta cotton in the canyon and kill a couple of yagado for their necklaces, you save 5k-10k. If you get earth clusters while you get the saruta cotton you'll save 1k-1.5k so really the only thing you gotta buy is the cotton clothes. This thing is a huge money maker if you do it right, I made 30k on my first try. and that was only 2 stacks.
Do anything for personal gain as long as it doesn't hurt those around you.

Just in case you were wondering 1 Shinobi-tabi is 25 guild points.
IMO this is the best Guild Point item I have had so far. It might even beat the time i sold a robe for 3k on the AH b/c they were the guild item after buying it at the shop for a fraction of the cost :-D.

Is there an hq synth for this? I'm guessing it will just make more than 33, but I am not nearly high enough crafting level to have seen it.
edit: To answer my own question, yes there is an hq and yes it does just give more. I hqed an entire stack instead of the normal 33.

IMO this item is a great skill up since you can pretty much sell it at cost on the AH, although it sells a little slow. Its a good way to get to 32ish when you can make bird fletchings to 42 and insect fletchings to 52.

LOL hey Knights, I was curious if you are a transverse from Dark Ages of Camelot? I was on Palomides server and saw a bunch of guys in your guild floating around alot. Just curious, I was a member of Grudge Inc. Too bad this game is alot more fun than Dark Ages otherwise I woulda stayed there.

Syz...You are a bastard...but you are correct. the most expensive part of this is paying 4000gil to the bastards that are buying all the saruta cotton and reselling it for twice as much.
I hate those pepole but i just harvest my cotton, plus you get alot of random goodies too that sell good.

I really advise against skilling up with cotton. Saruta cotton, Cotton thread and cotton cloth are all very close to the same price.
You lose gobs of money no matter how you obtained (hint, hint) the cotton.

Or you could spend the same amount of time killing crawlers and have enough to buy 2 stacks of cotton.

but by harvesting your own cotton, you also get a whole bunch of other stuff that makes you tons of gil. but hey if no-one else if harvesting, that just means less competition for me
