There's a new item, Healing mail... it's just like this, only adds:

Enchantment: Recover Wyvern HP
<30/30 0:30/[10:00, 0:30]>

It doesn't say "Regen," so I guess it's instant, like a cure. Once every 10 minutes, but sometimes that's all you need... a little boost while waiting for Spirit Link.

You make it by combining the Dragon Mail with a "Vivio Wyvern Scale" through high level Bonecrafting with an Earth Crystal. In other words:

Bonecraft (??)
Yield: 1
Crystal: Earth
-Dragon Mail
-Vivio Wyvern Scale

If anyone knows how to get the scale, please let me know. I really want this piece!!

Edit: Okay... I found some more Information.

Vivio Wyvern Scale:
Bonecraft (??)
Yield: 1
Crystal: Wind
-Wyvern Scales
-Wind Anima
-Water Anima
-Light Anima

The Healing mail is 90+ synth...

Bonecraft (90+)
Yield: 1
Crystal: Earth
-Dragon Mail
-Vivio Wyvern Scale

The other Vivio pieces use Bonecrafting Key Item "Bone Purification"... but I'm not sure if that's needed for this one, it isn't indicated on the site I found it on (http://mysterytour.web.infoseek.co.jp/ffxi/us/)

Any 90+ Bonecrafters on Pandemonium want to try to make the scales and mail for me? Send a /tell to Aviance and I'll be working at getting the materials until then. (AH-camping for the Dragon Mail).
Thank you!

Dragon Mail + Kirins Pole
# Jun 08 2005 at 5:31 AM Rating: Default
Both this and Kirins Pole have +10 to every element and if you had both equipped you would have +20 to every element, and every element is related to an enfeebling magic. So if you were a DRG/mage with both of these it would be very handy for your enfeebling magic which would be capped at half your main level.

# Oct 11 2005 at 7:32 AM Rating: Decent
just to clear up a few things the elemental resistance of gear is only defense to that element and thats all. never has improved magic of element and unless SE wants to mess the game up more never will.
reason
# Apr 16 2005 at 5:22 PM Rating: Decent
for all you who think this armor sucks, this of it this way. limit break 5, maat fight, he calls wyvern, he uses weapon skill, wyvern uses BREATH attack, who would have thought? so, it's godly for DRG in limit 5, and during Wyrm/dragon/wyvern fights, because if you have full +1, you get hit for a LOT less... the stats don't lie, people who don't believe lie.

The second his wyvern is out, it should be hit with a penta and killed. There should be no time for a breath attack.

Correct recipe:

Bonecraft 90 Smithing 63

Earth Crystal
1 Dragon Scale
3 Wyvren Scale
1 Leather Vest
1 Silver Thread
1 Darksteel Chain
1 Darksteel Sheet

I would guess cap to be between 55-63 for the smithing sub. My guess is closer to 63 due to the darksteel chain. I have made several with smithing at 60 including an HQ :)

Ok this recepy its nuts, you cant have two gilds at 90. After 60 you can only take 1 to 100 or 2 to 80 or 4 to 70, cuz you only have 40 points to level past 60... so its wrong.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 11 2004 at 2:29 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Umm, what are you talking about. Last time I checked this wasnt Ultima Online.
RE: WHAT
# Nov 13 2004 at 6:29 PM Rating: Excellent
Its still true, you have 40 levels to distribute among your crafts past lvl 60. Smiley: lol

hate to tell you, but no, you're wrong. you can have more than one skill above 60. you have 40 pts to use above 60, like was previously said.

Yep.

As said, you can have 90/70, 80/80, 70/70/80, etc.

However, if you go past the 100 points, it will actually lower the skill of your highest.

Let's say you have one at 100. You level anther to 60. If you level that one to 61, your first one will drop to 99.

Uhh...No. You get hit by a breath attack by ole Faffy, and you're smoked, unless you're a PLD. It's one of the reasons everyone besides tanks stand to the left or right side of him and stacked on top of eachother when fighting, so they don't get hit with breath AoE and Spike Flail.

You can only assign a maximum of 40 skill levels past level 60 for every craft. It is impossible to take every craft to 100, you can only take 1 to 100, then have everything else at 60; or have 2 crafts at 80 and the rest at 60, get it?

This item however is not impossible as level 90 in both Bonecraft and Goldsmithing is not the level requirement needed to make these but the skill level caps of the item. I guess if you had level 80 both Bonecraft and Goldsmithing you'd have a fair chance of making these, just be prepared to fail some synths.

I agree with some of your statement and disagree with some of it as it is not factually accurate.

For example you state that you are unable to level a skill to 100 in more than one craft that is a factually inaccurate statement. You are correct that you can only have 1 skill craft at 100+3+3, and that all others will be at 60, however if you were to take your guild membership with another Guild post Craftsman and then sign the new contract all other crafts will automatically be capped at Journeyman (60).

With this in mind i have personally crafted several Behemoth Rings and other items that are post 90+ and have subjobs that portray that the sub should me 60+ and my experience in almost all circumstances is that they where a sub is required and one of the ingredients is post 60+ to synth the cap is 60.

I personally have Alchemy at 89 uncapped, but because i am leveling Bone to 100 my alchemy is now capped at 60, until such time that i change guilds again and sign the contract with them.

If anyone needs anything crafted on the Unicorn server then please send me a /tell to Trovian.

Thanks

Koenig/Kaiser Shield has a max of 97. It needs both High-level Smithing and Goldsmithing. Wouldn't that require you to have 90 atleast in both crafts...

And Koenig/Kaiser shields exist amoung the PLD population.

However, I have heard what you have said there before. Not a lot, but I have heard it. Im a tad confused. Why would there be caps on what skills you can and cannot max out? Can you switch what points go into which?

One day having 100 goldsmithing, and another day having 100 clothcraft?

Bonecraft is the main skill required, Smithing is the sub-skill. The sub skill cap can be as high as the main skill, but normally isn't. On this site, when several recipes were put in with only the main skill cap known, the sub skill cap was listed as the same.

You might also notice several recipes listed with 0 skill. Try to make one of them. This site often uses 0 in place of unknown.

This recipe likely caps with bonecrafting at 90, and smithing somewhere ~70, judging by the darksteel chain.

The easiest way if you want proof is to go to the Jueno AH. Then sort "level" That should put the highest lv stuff at the top of the list. Then you should find it close to that. Unless...nobody on your server has made one...
