Drops of Genbu and its not that rare we get like 1/3 fights. Also does drop of Serket duh and Amariki duh.
As for the NM Scorp in Ifrits Cauldron not sure. I heard it did so we took a trip down there. Were 0/3 on the claw now. Hes not even hard 2 people can kill him easy.

Doesn't the claw also drop from Tyrannik Tunnok in Ifrit's Cauldron? (coulda swore I saw a screenshot of that drop once)

You must be thinking of something else Venomous Claw is only dropped form Serket (mainly), Amikiri (sometimes), and Genbu (rare).

I can confirm it drops off Genbu, as our alliance got one today.
I haven't checked in a while. but it was going for the same as the harness for a while.
Which made no sense what so ever to me.

wow HQ's go for over 30mil on carby.. the reg version is 12-16mil.. i WISH a +1 was only 10mil.. i'd own one if this was so :(
you have no idea what you're talking about. add up the prices on any piece of equipment's ingredients, they break even unless you HQ. why would an item so rare be cheap?
4.5-5 mil on Ramuh, when you can find one for sale (which is never)

Genbu definitely does drop this; we got one a few weeks ago on one of our Friday nite god runs.
Not sure why it does drop off a turtle though, good question @_@.

I can conferm that this does indeed drop off of serket, due to the fact that one dropped after my ls killed it earlier today, I have no idea if this drops off of genbu, but I have no idea why it would drop off of it, read the discription of it: a claw taken off of a SCORPION known for its highly venomous poison. not exactly what it says, but even from reading that discription you can figure out that its not from a turtle... I guess some nm do have really odd drops though... like a King B dropping cloth.

I dunno if it drops off Serket, but I can tell you that it does drop off an NM just like Serket.
The NM name is Amikiri and can be found in Gustav Tunnel.
Good luck fighting that one, it seems to be stronger than Serket, of course this NM is a 2 hour spawn, and you must defeat the surrounding Antares (scorpions) located on the second map north west in Gustav Tunnel to make Amikiri appear.
The claw is a really really rare drop but a rare/ex Katana seems to drop everytime.
Yes the Venomous claw is used to make Scorpion Harness.. so this claw is pretty much worth a pretty penny. Worth 5,000,000G on Phoenix.

i've always heard that the claw dropped from serket. not that i would know firsthand or anything since i'm not level 70+ and haven't killed either of these 2, but it makes more sense that serket, a scorpion, would drop the venomous claw rather than genbu, a giant turtle...
