has aneyone ever eaten one befor?

it says "This item is Food"

but it doesnt have aney stats to it.

well im gana eat one when i play on the weekend, and see if it can be eaten.


i hope i dont die :X so ill eat it on my mule

i've been able to grow these fungi for my alchemy... (they sell for about 700gils in AH on fairy server)

recipe herb seed + dark crystal

moon phase and day to feed crystal put heavily influence on the harvesting result.. but i forgot what day and moon phase i planted and feeed...

Well, for one, it is used in the quest "Reap what you sow."

The young tarutaru asks you to bring him a sobbing fungus or better. A deathball is something better than a sobbing fungus. Nets you 700 gil, and I think the quest is repeatable.

These can be grown with herb seeds+dark crystal, although why you would want one i don't know.
