Thanks Pikko, (/kneel) for the fashion shot post.

This has been my trusty staff for farming and... ...um... ...well... ...tight situations for a while now. Its prolly not the best of the best but it works well for those with (No money!)!

Very Respectfully

No I am 100% positive that the smithing cap is 21. My smithing was at 20.9 coming into this craft. I got a .1 on the first battle staff I synthed. 50 synths later no more skill.

NPC buyback?

Any idea what the return from selling to NPC is? I've heard it's 1K-2K, which wouldn't be bad. I'm looking at a cost-to-synth of ~4.9K, so a sellback of 2K would drop my cost-to-synth to under 3K (i.e., freaking incredible for this level).

I'm going to be synthing them from 76 right through to the cap, or close to it. With gloves and advanced support I'll effectively be 80, 5 under the cap. That being the case, I know I won't have any luck desynthing them.

I knew getting my smithing skill up would pay off..

Compared to a lot of other skillup options, this isn't terribly expensive to make. I'll probably just desynth them to cut my losses.

I went the kilo pump route to get to 74, and I'm looking for other alternatives to get to 80ish. But once I hit 80, I'm plowing straight through to 85 on these. Rock!!

I'll probably keep one for myself too. I tend to like to whack sh*t with a staff as mnk from time to time.
