I eat this while "head" hunting in SSG, lasts 3 hours. So unless they changed RL time in the last update, that would be 180 minutes, not 60 as the initial post suggests.
Are you a player, or a conglomerate of guides?
Lol, wanna hear something funny? I paid no attention to this item when I was trying to get everything else for opo-opo crown. Now that I only need this and the wyvern skull, I'm finding that it's not a blackened frog that I need, it's in fact a blackened toad. I must have killed dozens upon dozens of these guys when I was trying to get the mermaid head in SSG and I don't believe I've ever seen this toad drop....didn't get the mermaid head either for that matter ><;;. Oh well, I guess that's incentive enough for me to begin part II of my sahagin killing spree.

I spent 2 hours last nite trying to get it with a RDM and WHM friend. They were both bored, so they decided to help. I'm a 75SMN, the WHM was 75, and the RDM was 50. Needless to say, we killed all the brooks in the main room, lower room, and behind the silver door, and ran all the way back up before they respawned to repeat the cycle. We eneded up with a stack or two of everything else, EACH, but no toad.
My WHM fell asleep, so I got pissed and decided to sub THF. We decided to give it another try for another 1.5 hours. The RDM and I were able to still murder everything in our path, but still no toad. I did get an extra stack of mythril beastcoins from stealing, so I guess we didn't leave empty handed.
Oh well, I'm going to try again tonight. I think I might bribe someone with TH2 to come with me... this toad is never in the AH for me.

oh ya it is sell on AH. But not too many people selling it. So, still need to hunt it myself.. =(
