OK i wasted 20k on this garbage.... it give 0 VIT and my base def was 318 and it only raised it to 348.... now i don't feel like doign the math but that IS NOT 30%!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats less than 10% This is like food for lvl 1-10 people. Pikko please fix this, i just wasted 20k on this for nothing.
EDIT: Sorry i thought i still had the steamed crayfish page up. All what i said is true for steamed crayfish, not for steamed crab. sorry for the mix up.

Darksday, last quarter moon 50%, facing north ... 12 steamed crab for 18 tries, no breaks.
Was just making these for guild points but now I wonder...hmmmm, are these worth selling?

Sheesh, you're lucky. I have 60.0 cooking... New moon 5% on watersday facing west (not sure if direction helps, but can't hurt), and got 10% HQ. :\

yeah, it had to have been changed. i used to use these and they gave +5, was nice cuz with AF, gluttony, etc, i had my VIT at +22 after using one. now i only hit +19 /cry

They probibly took it away because there is a -1 DEX on the normal one.. so i guess they thought if they take one away they gotta take one of the other one away too.... which doesn't make sence because it's a +1...

I think they changed this to vit + 3 since the update on Dec 8. not sure but as a pld my vit was 39 + 8 then i used one and it went o 39 + 11. I will check this again to see if it was just a fluke or if they really changed.

This stuff is excellent for tanking. However, I more often used Boiled crab as my PLD considering it is cheap for me to make, and stacks of steamed crab sell from 17-20k on Garuda. If I have the gill to spare I'll buy a stack, but more often than not I'm farming for some item or craft and have to gil to spare. ^^; I can't help but wonder what things would have been like at lv10 in the dunes had I been using this stuff...

It's the High Quality synth of Boiled Crab. I made 12 Steamed Crabs using 24 Boiled Crab recipes. i.e. half the time. My cooking skill is 62 and it was on Firesday.

Follow the same recipe as boiled crab, if you are lucky(or have a lot of skill) then you will get this instead.
