Doh! forgot to check how much these actually sell for on my server before making them, thinking that since they're the guild point item of the day they would sell fast. bought all the ingredients to make cermet kukri's to make these, already had paralyze potions, made them... got some skill ups, got alchemy to 84! and after spending about 50k per knife, found out they sell for 13k... which is insane. the +1 goes for 800k. i think people are overly obsessed w/ +1 items. ITS ONLY ONE MORE DAMAGE! SO? anyways, am i wrong in thinking crafted items should sell for the cost of ingredents at least?
i wouldnt not suggest using a stun kukri to spread peanut butter... unless ur making a sandwich for someone u don't like.

delay and dmg has very little to do with it. Weapons that have an 'additional effect' (not including status bolts that work nearly every time on everything but IT++) fire a very small % of the time. With the +1 versions, that effect happens ALOT more. Soloing, increasing the % of stun from 5% to 25% on easy prey is a huge difference. That's why on the katanas / daggers that have this effect the +1s are so much more expensive.
I feel your pain, but here's why the price discrepancy:
- Daggers have pretty low damage overall so an additional +1 damage is not so insignificant.
- The +1 also has a reduced delay from 212 - 206. The most likely wielder of this dagger would be a thf, and as such dmg/delay ratio is pretty critical. Cermet Kukri+1 has the same dmg as the NQ Stun, but a delay of only 188 - pretty sweet blade.
- In my experience the proc. rate of these crafted Additional Effect weapons is very poor. The HQ's proc somewhat more often. If you're sacrificing some base dmg. (Hoplites Harpe dmg: 27) for an additional effect, you'd want a decent chance of the effect kicking in.
I may buy/attempt to craft a +1 for special situations - (soloing or maybe offhand use) buy I really wouldn't give the NQ a second glance.
