Did this about a week ago and still mad. To start, Whm is my first job which means I have little fame and few maps. Had to do fame quests for a day, which sucks. Then I checked the three spots that you don't need to go to go through Beaucedine Glacier for, naturally, nothing. So, ran through the pass, and glacier, got lost. Had a high level offer to help (very grateful) and we get the fourth spot. Nothing. (/em starts swearing.) He goes and checks the other three, and naturally, it was at the last one.

On Valefor server this scroll is now selling for 400k in Lower Jeuno.......... and im freaking stuck trying to get it arghhh i cant find this freaking candle, can someone please confirm that u dont need to click a candle to complete the quest? or can u just click some question marks and its done? I was clicking on some ??? and they never dissapeared, i clicked on them like 20 times and they stayed there.

just finished this quest, getting the fame for windurst was pretty boring but worth it, i found the ??? at the first entrance but i thought because it failed i had got the wrong ??? so i travelled to other entrances and my sneak ran out and i got attacked by 6 undead, all because i didnt read properly if it fails when u click the ??? then you have completed it and need to go back to the npc's for your mea scroll.
yah know out of all the bad lukc i have playing this game, ie: hitting lvl 61 five times on the same job, stolen items from said friends, ect... I finally get a break, teleport mea scroll for me was at G-6 walk in, no sneak need for me here, click on candle, "this candle burns brighter than the others", use insence bam done. lol this just makes the game worth it yah know. to all others good luck i hope you have it easy too, use that ffxi atlas website, i dont' have it but its listed in this tread over and over again. It helps a lot, even if you have the map, eldieme sucks!

You can quest it or buy it in ah thats the only two ways that i know of getting this spell
Currently Teleport-Mea is 250k on Asura, cheapest is Teleport-Holla at 30k in sandy.
They should rename Asura to United Kingdom cuz its a total rip-off

- why in the world is this spell so expensive? (the most expensive to my knowledge.) i dont plan on using WHM, so when/if i complete this quest it'll be a smooth 300k (low) in my pocket = ). end.

Now this quest can be very VERY easy or be the biggest bitch ever, depending on your luck. Of course, my ??? was at the entrance to Eldieme Necropolis thru Beaucedine Glacier... why wouldn't it be? I bought two stacks of Silent Oils and two stacks of Prism Powders and off to Teleport-Vahzl. I run through Xarcabard and all the way through Beaucedine Glacier and Eldieme Necropolis finally making it to the ??? (thanks to http://ffxi-atlas.com/maps/?act=show&id=eldieme_necropolis) only to find a Taru there who examines the ??? seconds before I do. He then says "That's too bad." and I /sigh and warp home.
I kick myself and try the other three spots which are the "easy" spawn points for a couple hours (eventually I stopped popping Silent Oils, which is all you need for Undead)), and I give up. Next day I try again going from spot to spot in Battalia Downs then I figure with my luck, it has to be through Beaucedine Glacier... so I buy more Silent Oils and Prism Powders and Teleport-Vahzl, and I finally get the ???. Now I'm a little closer to buying a Haubergeon.
P.S. You need level 4 Windurst fame... Zabirego-Hajigo (Windurst Waters F-10) should say "Why, if it isn't (Name)!"

An LS friend told me that there is one enterence in from battalia downs that takes you right to the brazar. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so, which is the enterence in battalia dows (pos please)

Kinda funny, a few months ago it was 10k in Jeuno, now it's 120k (Unicorn Server)! If the price is ever low, buy as many as you can thats what i suggest. I'm going to do the quest, but by the time I'm done it'll probably be back to 10k lol Also for anyone wondering, although it was said many times, no its a one time quest the only way to get it again is to do the quest with a different character or buy it.

The entrance to most of 'em is actually on the back -- a small hook. Some few easy-access types have it on the front. YMMV.

Well this Quest is not repeatable, otherwise it wouldn't be worth so much.
If you plan on ever lvling your WHM to this lvl then I suggest you keep the scroll otherwise you'll have to pay for it.

NO this quest is not repeatable. it costs 70-80k in jeuno AH (fenrir) and if you ever are planning on lvling up whm do not do the quest and sell it because you will need it

I'm fairly certain that I have seen the teleport majics for sale at the AH. The way I see it, many non-mage characters find this quest and recieve the scroll but have no use for it. I still say do the quest, it gets you fame and everything. Hope that's helpful!
