Dunno if it's a difference in servers or time, or some change SE made, but they're only about 100k on Fairy as of 10/10/06. There were 6 on sale, so maybe drop rate got adjusted or something.

aero IV.. most probably the worst drop rate ive ever seen.. but beats paying almost 1 mil for it on fenrir server. anyway about the lvl of the prelates.. im 69 blm and they check decent to tough to me so i doubt a 65 any job is gonna solo em. possibly bst or smn if they did it right

A BLM can actually do this, and the "fight" isn't very difficult at all. The hardest part, in my opinion, is finding a safe spot to sleep/nuke. If you camp near the entrance to the part of the castle with the Prelates, you will get aggro'd from behind by the (slightly) smaller Yags. If you camp near the Bronze Door, you have to deal with two Yags ( a NIN and a BRD ). Even if you don't get a link, you won't have time to kill more than one Prelate before the NIN and BRD repop. And, as everyone else is saying, the drop rate sucks, so...unless you get extremely lucky, you probably will give up long before you ever see a scroll.
I went along with another 70+ BLM, and we camped near the Bronze Door, and we were able to tear through the Yags at a fair pace. We killed for about three hours, and didn't get anything but a few worthless BRD spells.
I'm going to need this spell very soon, and it's frustrating to see the same pair of THFs camping Prelates and jacking the prices up. This spell was never cheap, but as of today (6/29/06) this scroll is selling for 660-700k. I should stop wasting time and go farm. XD
Aero IV is hovering around 1M gil on Diabolos right now.
This rate is terrible......I have killed around 50 prelates...not 1 Aero 4 :(
coffer pt's kill these, and I will be soloing them soon as 65drg/whm no need for lvl 75 or a rdm :P.
it says they're 65-69 so if you're 65, they'll be like EM-IT to you... and you're gonna solo them??? I highly doubt it.

at level 65, a level 69 mob is only T or maybe low end VT, and a good DRG can solo that if they do it right. Maybe the BLM job of prelates might make that hard, but I've known some DRG to solo T and VT crabs. Also, when I was in there as RDM at level 66, nothing checked harder than T (and I could solo them... sleep nuke a wonderful thing). Not as hard as you make it seem.

this spell has goten up to 500+ on Asura... i dont completely understand y this spell if so expensive beyond the fact that a 75 person would have trouble soloing the mob for it unless your a rdm... but none the less.... no need for it being 500k... thats rediculous... FIRST POST!!! W00T
