This is a Darksteel Falchion imbued with beastman's blood, allowing the user to absorb his enemy's health

has about a 5% activation rate, i usually get about 20 HP back. Activation rate seems to go up to about 10% while in yellow HP and almost 20% in red. Ammount of HP drained also seems to be random though got anywhere from 7 to 50 HP back from an attack.

I use this together with my Kabrakan's Axe to farm spiders either in Tree or in the Desert.

Just sub nin and go with two. lol Twice the acivation rate and good damage for a swd. Specially if you have two.
Worthless

Not worth the 100k i spent for this on Remora. It goes off (maybe) every 10-15th hit. And when it does go off, it gives you about 20 hit points back. My sword skill is capped. I tested it out in Korroloka Tunnel fighting Giants, Jellies, and Spiders. Same results. If you are looking for a bloody bolt subsitute, don't. This sword doesn't even come close.

I think your problem is right there, you were looking for a bloody bolt substitute. If you just use common sense, you can figure it would be broken if it drained 20 hp every single hit..

But, if you use it in addition to bloody bolts, i think it be a good bonus

I assumed this is akin to your skill level with the sword...

I know with Bloody Bolts (which I use alot of), the Drain Effect always works on lower level critters and not so often with VT and IT mobs.

Just something to consider...

Farming?

Does the additional effect work a lot of weaker fiends, this would help a lot for farming.

Not true. I can tell you from personal experience that the higher the gap between your level and the mobs level the more the "added effect" kicks in. Example 56 War/nin while skilling up club using in skill up PT's against DC and EP I get the HP drain about 3 in 10 swings with this sword. When farming Cockathrice outside Port Jeuno which are Too Weak I average 4-5 effects per 10 hits. When farming Saplings in Rolenberry Fields which are lower level than the Cockathrice 5-7 per 10 hits with sword. In closing dont use for exp pt as hitting IT+ you will not get much activation rate.... farming with this bad boy and no need for rest :)

It doesn't really go off very often.
