ROFFLE.

I wonder whats wrong with you. No flaming or anything, star necklace is useless comparing it to a torque.

Wind Torque should be a must.
Think about it. You use Wind insruments HOW much for than String?
You can ***** out CHR anytime, as well as MP no problem.

Wind skill is useful not just for Minuets (Which you CAN merit), good for your Elegy~ing, Lullaby~ing, etc. Depending on what instrument of choice.

I bought mine for 1mil. Don't be cheap and only recongize one measly difference of which you didnt approve of. Don't get me wrong, not everyone is made of gil.

---

String torque is useful, obviously for those stringed instruments~ In which are used alot more rarely in most cases, still nice to have and extreamly cheap in comparison.

To each his/her own i suppose. I, personally prefer it. Comparing it to my other gears i use and the tons of merits i have it works in my favour. :)

As an owner of both wind/string torque and other BRD necklaces allow me to chip in my 2 cents for those of you that can't decide what to equip:

After much farming and AH camping, I finally bought 1 string torque and 1 wind torque. I carefully macro'd each of them into my gear setups so that they would automaticlly switch out when I played the matching instrument...

the result: near nothing.

For example, at Level 75 my Valor Minuet IV increased by 1 point with wind torque.... Let me repeat that for you: 1 friggin point. As in Attack 255 -> 256.

Is that worth 1-2 Million? I don't think so. You may think differently. 99.9% of the time you will see me with Star Necklace equipped. I promptly sold wind / string torques at AH and I enjoy my 3 CHR and 15 MP.

It's up to 1.4 mil on Kujata, better get yours while you can. I just bought the String Torque for 100K, but this one is out of reach almost already.

When I get BRD to 65 Im going to buy this and a String Torque and carry them both around with me at the same time..... those 2 will be my end-game Neck Armor. Only Bad thing it doesnt add CHR so if you want that go with the Star Necklace or Torque +1. Just my 2 cents.

CHR helps land debuffs. Skill helps land debuffs. Skill > CHR. Therefore, carring a CHR necklace and the Wind Torque is a waste of space.

No.

Endgame HNMing and Sky: CHR > Skill.

1-74 level grind: Skill > CHR.
