I was wondering if anyone knows anything about capped crafting levels. I heard that you can only get one craft to 100 then all others are capped at some level. I don't know if it's true although it came from a reliable source. Of this is the case what about things where the sub craft skill is level 75 or 80+ like some of the clothcraft recipies require 83 Goldsmithing skills to make. If anyone knows hands down exactly what the rules are please let me know.
You can get all crafts to 60. After that you have a total of 40 lvl to distribute among all crafts (except fishing). So you can bring 1craft to 100 and all others to 60, or 2crafts to 80 and rest 60, or 1craft 90 and 1 70 rest 60, or 4crafts to 70. . .etc
it's true that you can only get one skill to 100, if you do then the highest you can get the rest is 60, however if you do not get a skill to 100 you can get others higher, i don't know for sure the numbers though...
Most of the ~upgrade~ recipes (where you take CP gear craft a HQ by adding material to it via crafting) have a normal HQ1 result (shown with a white background) and an HQ2 result (shown with a blue background).
For example, I can upgrade Freesword Slops and I'll usually get Windurstian Slops, unless I'm lucky and get the HQ2 result, Federation Slops.
The only difference in my mind regarding the Combat Caster gear is that they didn't bother to think up clever names for the different results.
