It seems that the drop rate on these things is very random. I have done around 250k in The Boyhada Tree as a solo BST and I can get stacks of 12 on some occasionas and other I dont get any in three days!
A very rare drop from these Goobbues. I think our PT got 1 drop in about 3 or 4 hours... i'm surprised it only sells for 6k a piece since its so rare.
I duo'd for about 5-6k XP with another BLM 70, and got 4 pieces during that time. Interestingly enough, the NPC sale price is 6,757g (Max fame in Windurst), so generally it is more worthwhile to sell it that way.
Not rare at all, my skillup pt today killed two goobs and it dropped off of both. Either we're extremely lucky or this is just not that rare of a drop. Course we had one or two thfs there.
Unless the rumors about BST with a pet having a TH value are true, they aren't that rare. I usually get into a BST pt and the lumber drops very often. Way more than the cuttings and usually at the same rate as moss. NPCs for 6757 with max fame in Bastok.
