The current(26/07/2008) "best GK" list for SAM is
Amanomurakumo > Hagun = Futsuno Mitama(5-hit) = Soboro Sukehiro(situational) > Onimaru(latent:83dmg,+5acc,+18atk under 100%tp and during WS) > Ushikirimaru > Shinsoku

notes:
1)Even on WS, 18atk>2STR unless you're capping pDIF which is unlikely
2)If you're not WSing at or near 100% you're doing it wrong
3)While tping 3STR = ~1 base dmg = ~6-8atk (depends on how much atk you have)
4)On Y/G/K 1STR = ~1base dmg = ~6-8atk (depends on how much atk you have)
5) converting all additional factors to equivilant base dmg, while tping onimaru=85.5dmg+2.5%acc, ushikirimaru=82.6dmg, during WS onimaru=85.5dmg(acc generally capped), ushikirimaru=84dmg

You can't eyeball this stuff
(w/ things that vary allot it generally takes a 10x change for humans to think an effect has doubled).
Learn to parse/test and/or do the math.

i got mine acouple of days ago and hagun cant hold a candle to it. it is my new sky weapon. because at 100 tp i have never hit less than 1000 on gods. i havent even tryed it in exp yet. so imo save your cash and try and get this for sky
(bfore you say anything yes i have used the hagun extensivly. but dont get me wrong hagun is good.... but this is beter^^

i got so lucky with this drop it was my first sky even and i didnt even know who zip was....killed it and saw a cool GK drop so i lotted then my ls leader lotted over me -.-. he let me have it since he uses his 75rng instead of his 75sam in sky so now im working towards 73 sam to wear it currently at 69. that makes me 1/1 :D

Just got mine, I'm now 1/5 or 1/6 on Zip. Just on the next trigger (Faust) our DRG got the Tonbo-giri. Must've been our lucky day. No special moonphase/lightningsday if someone cares.

Today, I did my 1st Sky event. I was on my way to sky, and I heard that my LS got Ushi to drop, and luckily I was the only samurai in our LS that's going ^^ Everyone noticed that, so they told me to rush. I did, I tried to rush as fast as I could ; ; but I was at the entrance of Ro'maeve, got to the teleporter that bringz you to Ru'Aun right when it droped out of the treasure pool >< tough luck for me. But I was kinda glad I got the Tonbo-giri drop later on. I'm hoping I can get the drop next time, but I heard the drop rate was shyt >< and hopefully when it does, I'll be the only samurai agian ; ; goo d luck to me... ><!

I don't quite understand why people think this is better than the onimaru.

Since you're a samurai, you'll usually be WS once you get 100 TP. The onimaru has better damage under 100 TP, plus 18 attack.

My Ls did Zip today, and me being main Sam in Ls got it =D so [/joy] 1/3 sky items that I want I have now =)

Damn I was allmost iffy about swapping out my Hagun for this, 200 tp hitting like 300 is really nice..... But the rapid tp gain in pts puts me at 250-300 for every WS anyways, so it's definatly better for chaining in Exp pts with it's higher stats.

The hagun still kicks ass for HNM and 1shot farming, but for normal and exp battles I'd definatly keep this equipped.

I know many Sams on my server that are 0/20 on getting this to drop. My HNMLS got me sky and the next day, my first fight ever in sky was Zipacna and he dropped this. Being the only Samurai at the time, I got it :) I loooove it.

To answer those who are curious about how enmity helps Samurai.... Sams make awesome SATA SC partners. With enmity, it makes it easier to make the mob turn so the Thf or Drk/Thf can SATA and close the SC. At my lvl, I love finding a Drk/Thf to do Tachi: Kasha -> Spinning Slash with and sometimes when I provoke before the SC, it doesn't turn, more enmity will help with that.

Well, if u cant find a tank but u can find a SAM (not that this would be a problem at this lvl, but read on) the +enmity would help, seeing as StoreTP applies to both when u hit and when u get hit meaning even more badass weapon skills to rend your opponents asunder. Especially good if you happen to be fighting demons ^_-

Ok i ve done this research about best weapon for each class and everythgi nstarts from "relic" to an ultimate class weapon.

sam need eminity to sata the mob in battle to control hate well

I have search through many weapons for many jobs.
the ragnarok ,bravura ,scarecrow sythe and all of these have at least 89 attack. but the samurai only has 82. seems the samurai's stronger weapon is still to be found. any hints or know abouts the strongest katana please reply and future thanks.

I've heard that this mob can be attacked by multiple parties, so there is no limit to how many people can attack. I've also heard that the gem of the north is on a ??? spot, so all who fight can receive it. if this is true, please get back to me.
