I think (emphasis on THINK) that Claws are piercing damage and bones are weak to blunt damage (fists,cesti etc..) so I don't think they'd do that well, and why use these when CC are so much better anyway?

Do these have some sort of hidden properties? Because the ingredients drop off some really high HNM dragon monsters. They just seem a little underpowered to me. Maybe the additional fire damage is really good or something.

I bet that extra fire damage would add up pretty nicely on weapons w/ very little delay
if ur talking in general, not really, burning cest has like +48 delay and the fire damage, barely ever kicks in

and you assume these don't proc often. Some items proc more then others. These might proc a LOT.
