This item gives 31 guild points and the maximum guild points you can recieve is 1520 and it takes about 50 pairs to reach that goal 49.03 if you want to get really technical. I have somewhere between lvl 7 and 9 sandy fame and can buy them for 111 gil from the npc in N. Sandy by the western gate, making it cost 5550 to max out the guild points (prices will vary with fame)
This is sold by the merchant for the Ronfaure Region - almost always in San d' oria. I don't know the NPC's name but location should be somewhere in San d Port.

With good resources can probably be made for less gil, however by the time you reach Woodworking lvl 4 you will probably be able to upgrade to better foot armor.
