if you havent scrolled down (or to all the noobs that didnt know) a cape is made with 2 grass cloths a grass thread and a EARTH crystal.
a headgear is made with a WIND crystal........

this was the very first thing i made when i joined thr clothcraft guild sooooo yea it very easy to make and u people need to pay more attention to the recipes because obviously the two have different crystals to be used.....idiots

when u synthesize it it will tell you if u got just the Headgear or the Headgear +1

This has the same recipe as teh cape...how do you differentiate them if you want to make headgear but not a cape?

yes, the cape uses an earth crystal, the wind creates a headgear. To get a +1 you need to have a "perfect synthesis". A rare event which will yield a +1 item.
