I have had the great pleasure in being able to craft an Aristocrat's tunic. And also in my own opinion Kirin is easy compared to KB. I intend on procuring the entire Aristocrat's set. Afterwards I'm going to be finishing my Cleric's
Can anyone confirm a drop of the Shining Cloth from Genbu? My shell tends to pop and destroy him often but not Suzaku or Kirin with any regularity, actualy I'm not sure we've even popped Kirin, as I just recently completed the ZM for sky, but from what I've heard we generally do Genbu more.
I'm just wondering because my g'f has this at the top of her list (WHM) and she gets really dissapointed when in planning they skip Kirin. We did take down Suzuka, which was a blast and it looks like that was a confirmed God to drop Shining cloth, but I was just looking to boost my g'fs hopes a little if anyone could say the definatly Genbu has dropped this.
CLOTH SELLS FOR 20 MIL ON IFRIT, BUT NO NOBLES OR ARITOCRATS TUNICS HAVE EVER SOLD ON AH. IM A HIGH LEVEL CLOTH CRAFT ADN IT REALLY SUCKS THAT THIS CLOTH IS SO EXPENSIVE. :(
LOLbst is all about your OMG gear and nothing else
true, but lolbst can only equip gear designed for BBQ type jobs, so they don't get all the OMG bonuses that they need to truly fulfill their job (which is ROFLcopter repairman)

Cloth and Tunic both about 10mil on Fenrir and far as i know still only 2 NA with the HQ version...
Im working on getting one each time i get my hands on a cloth i let the same guy craft it for me... one day.. ill either break it lose 10mil and be to scared to try again or come up with an HQ!

Kirin, King Behemoth and Suzaku drop it. I've kiled kirin 6 times, drop 2 times. Not that hard to kill kirin, so it's probably your best bet. Killed suzaku 8+ times, no drop ; ; King behemoth, haven't killed yet ; ;

At the time of this post, I am only level 39, yet the Noble's Tunic is something I'm greatly looking forward to crafting for myself (as it's the main reason I have leveled clothcraft as high as I have). I came from an EQ guild where I was a raid leader, so I believe I can eventually lead my LS to kill these mobs (Suzaku looks like the best bet). Anyways, any information on this drop without the standard "I want this" crap that is posted below would be helpful!

I thought I would post this thread off of our LS's site. We have a lvl 75 member who is a part of the Lunarians LS and they do all of that stuff. I can ask him if you like as to what the drop rate is...

It's not doing those HNMs justice by just calling them mere mobs. All three will be seriously difficult to kill... Brainiacs, a well respected Japanese HNM ls, wrote an entry on their website on how they killed Kirin, who is one of the most difficult HNM. It took them several hours to kill him.

Yes, that little booger drops the Shining Cloth.So far this cloth hasn't sold in any AH in Alexander, and only 3 tunics that you make with this stuff have been sold.... Lord knows what the cloth by itself would go for...
