Certain recipies require this. Not sure of which, but its just like recipies that call for H.Q. Crab Shell instead of Crab Shell

Scorpion harness uses regular scorpion shells.

It takes 4 of these to make a scorpion breastplate, not sure of any other recipes it's used in.

I think you got the wrong recipe...you can only carry one of these at once, so needing 4 would be sorta...impossible.

you can carry more then one HQ shell >.>; it's not rare.
used for Bonecrafting Skill up on Scorpion Gualets,Breastplate,and leggings.
Item is not drop from any normal scorpion (that i can't think of) but is obtainable by mining. (excavation points)

False on both accounts. :P This only drops from very high level scorpions (and the Operation: Desert Storm KSNM30), and is not listed as Rare.
