I checked my delivery box today, and in it was a cyclone crystal sent from MHUH (i believe that is correct). This makes absolutely no sense to me for 2 reasons.
1) it's an ex item which means you can't send or trade it.
2) it was sent from a name with all CAPS (chars only have the first char of thier name capitalized).

Has this happened to anyone else...is it like a gift from SE (lol), or if I use it will it erase all my data (^^). Seriously, though does anyone know why or how i received this?

Thanks
(I swear that I received this i'm not BSing).

Edit: I noticed the other post it might have been MHMU and not MHUH. I tried sending an item to both names and it won't let me.

Edit: Valentione's Day Event (Valentine) Mog House Management Union. Guess that explains how you send an EX item...those silly moogles ^^.

This crystal was send to all users of the game as part of the Valentione's Day event. Doesnt anyone read the posted events on PlayOnline? The MHUH is a Mog House Union...something cant remember what the H was. Just read about it on PlayOnline.
MHMU?

I have a question.

It's widely known that you can remove the rare/ex of the Pollux and... whatever the other Sandy marriage quest ring is... by using a wind crystal on it (at least, I'm pretty sure it's wind crystal- if not, just substitute my question with the correct HQ crystal). If you use a Cyclone Crystal on it, will it add your signature to said ring?

Just curious, but may be useful!

It adds your name to the item you make it with.
signiture

so it says this lets you add your signature. i thought that you did that when you made a +1. so does this let you put your sig. on a regular quality synth?? or do you have to make a +1 using this crystal and only then can add a sig?? anyone know?

No, the ONLY way to put a signature on something is with these crystals. You cannot put one on something simply by HQ-ing it. Whether or not you HQ the item, using one of these crystals will put your signature on it.

it adds your signature to non-stackable items, like armor, or weapons.
Where these come from

Heya Everyone,
I got these from a Char named Qhum Knaidjn (Mithra NPC) outside of the Cooking Guild in Windurst. She asks you to bring her as many of one item that you can within 20 game days. The item changes every 20 game days and is dependant on your skill level with the guild. You get guild points for turning in items (sort of like conquest points) and you can spend those to purchase the new crystals. Hope this helps
