So, uh, is this a waste of an item or can Lightning Crystals be used to make anything that is actually signable?

Um... so how's this work, could I for instance make a Fire Sword using the "special" fire crystal and then name the sword whatever I wanted? Cause in a way that's kinda neat. Ooh, another question. If I made said item and named its "My sword" or whatever, would anyone who checked my equipment see it as "my sword" or as "fire sword"?

signed items are usually given away as gifts. If you waste your money on a signing crystal just to sell the item your not really thinking smart.

If this is the same thing as a Lightning crystal, then whats the point? Perhaps new recipes.....?

these are use just like the normal crystal, but when making things like beds u can put ur name in it ^^

However, if you sell your "signed" item through AH as soon as it sells the signature is lost. So this means you have to trade or bazaar the item to retain the signature.
