i got this a month ago and i also have tha hands and goldsmithing glasses now im going for the big iron thing that you put on your mog's house i cant remember its name junk or something like it pretty expensive to get them and im lvl 94 smithing. oh and i got this on sandy dont remember the name of the girl

Little more details about the "how-to" get this apron ^^ ...
Here is the how-to get the goldsmith apron (must be same thing for everyone):

I guess it is guild points...
I just passed the lvl 30 cap quest to get my level Novice. Now I can have some kind of gouvernment deal with someone near the "advance synth" booster.. That person ask an Item (normally around your capacity ... on real good condition :))... then you make guild points by returning the asked object... even more when returning HQ ones ..
Again... "This item can be obtained with 100000"
That is a lot of points :) not as crazy as the fishind rod that ask 10 000 fish but... I still wish you all good luck .. I am trying it ^^

I am at lvl 36 smithing and Novice lvl so i was wondering could someone tell me when i can get this? and how many guild points it costs PLEASE HELP ME OUT

I really would like someone to please explain in some detail on what Guild Points are and how do you go about acquiring this Item. I am from Windurst but Smithing is the only one that interests me, could I get some feedback on how to get better at it and also get the Blacksmith's Apron in the future.

Now my smithing is only at 26 but I do know the answer to your question. Essentially once you hit Novice rank (you have to be at least skill lvl 28 to take the test) you can form a contract with a member at the respective guild. After you have a contract (you can only have one contract at a time and accepting a contract with a second guild will eliminate your contract with the 1st guild and any guild points you have aquired) you can begin to accumulate guild points.
You obtain guild points by trading the guy who gave you the contract items. The item that he asks for changes every earth day. It should be noted that trading in HQ versions will get you extra guild points. Each day there is a cap on how many guild points one can recieve so if you hit your cap, you must wait one earth day. It is a long and grueling process but, come on, look how cool that apron is. =P Well I hope this helps.

I believe you can only acquire Guild Points after you have reached the level of Novice in a Guild, which I think is what you get when you pass the test at level 38. So if you've got this, you have either already spent a LOT of time synthing, or someone gave it to you or sold it to you, but I am not sure whether you can do that with this or not.

Where do you get this and what are Smithing Guild points? I've been dabbling in various synthing, but I'm not that serious about it so the highest I've gotten is lvl 3.

You can only start getting points when you reach lvl 38 in a craft, and get your first piece of synthesis equipement at lvl 48 with 70000 points, but its better to start getting points as soon as you get access to the system ^^
